The Potty Rebellions

The boy's potty trained, but now we have to worry about the (extraordinarily stubborn) girl. It's getting to be the time to potty train again!

Happy Birthday Matthew!!

My baby boy is no longer a toddler! *sniff sniff* He turned 3 today, so he is now a full-fledged preschooler. Wow, where did the time go?

He woke up this morning and came into bed with me to snuggle. What a great way to wake up. Sweet smelling boy cuddling up to me. VERY nice wake-up. I asked him if he knew what today was, and he said "Matt-chew's birfday party day!", and did a cute little dance. HAHA.
When Tim got home from duty, we had breakfast, then he and birthday-boy went to my parents' house so I could get ready for his party. I made my own birthday cake for him, and I have to say, I think it turned out very well! HAHA. I also cleaned like a mad-woman getting ready for the party.
When Matthew got back home, he walked in the door, and announced "ever-body, I'm HEE-RE!". So cute. Then he noticed his birthday banner (Bob the Builder), and his cake (with Bob and Scoop on it), and got really excited. He sat down at the table and said "Time to eat!". I asked him what he wanted to eat, and he said cake, please! Hehe. I let him eat some of the other food, and reminded him that the cake was for the party. All his other guests got here, and he had a blast playing with his friends (a little girl he's known since he was an infant who's his best friend (she's a month younger than him), and 2 neighbor kids who he really likes, along with his cousins). Then he got to open presents, and they played with them for a while, then it was CAKE TIME! :) He blew out his candles, then wanted me to take off Scoop and Bob for him to play with. LOL. We ate cake, and the kids played a little longer.
After the party, everyone went home, and Matthew played with his new toys for a while, then was POOPED, so he went to bed.
*sigh*...can't believe my little boy is 3 already! Where did the time go.
